Singing backup for Enrique Iglesias - June 28, 2008

I've had the honor and pleasure of singing backup for the one and only Enrique Iglesias lately. And tomorrow I get to perform at the Eurocup final in Vienna, Austria with him! I can't even believe it. We just did the Isle of MTV on the island of Malta. Other performers included One Republic, The Kooks, Lady GaGa, and N.E.R.D. That was one crazy night!!! It is such a fun job and even though I'm just a temporary sub, I couldn't be happier about the whole thing.

Weekly Acoustic Rocking - May 9, 2008

You can catch me just about every Sunday in Hollywood at a little acoustic cafe called Cafe Muse. I play from 7-9pm and sometimes I have some of my many talented friends come and play for the first hour. And we do some sweet collaborations. Cafe Muse is located at 6547 Santa Monica Blvd. between Wilcox & Las Palmas, right on Theater Row. They have delicious food, wi-fi, giant cupcakes, an upright piano, an acoustic guitar, and it's BYOB. I hope to see you there sometime! Be sure to check my calendar for the exact dates (every once in a while there's an art opening on a Sunday). www.cafemusela.com

photo shoot completed - February 18, 2008

Yesterday I had a big photo shoot that went extremely well. I am so excited about these pics! And now that my hair is the longest it's ever been EVER, I was thinking that maybe I should look in pictures as I do in real life. So look for those soon! They came out so great. The photographs were shot by my good friend Jackson Waite. He has been shooting me for years (jersey alley pic, backseat mustang pics) and he isn't even principally a photographer. He is a filmmaker (www.teamliftfilms.com), but I couldn't have selected a better person for this shoot. His buddy (& fellow film master) Trevor helped out immensely, and Amy made me look all purdy-like. We had so much fun! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

news for the new year - January 17, 2008

I have some goals for 2008, one of them being the recording of a full-length album. I'll be playing all over California and making my way back east every couple months. You shall soon see some videos of live performances online. There is a lot going on out here on the West Coast, and I'm so excited about getting to know the scene. All this sunshine is starting to sink in. Mmmmm.

NEW SONGS POSTED!!! again!!! - August 12, 2007

Last week I recorded some of my new songs while I was out in Cali. Thanks to Billy Sullivan for engineering and letting me do my thang!!! These tracks were recorded live in one take, so that means they are a bit on the raw side. But that's what I was going for so I guess it all worked out! Head to the tunes page to have a listen!!!

new songs posted!!! - February 28, 2007

If you head over to my tunes page, you will see that there a couple new songs up! "Take It All" is my newest song, and I'm very excited for you to check it out. It was produced by Ken Rich at his awesome studio in Brooklyn, Grand Street Recording. You will also find an older track called "Possibility." I recorded this a few years ago with guitar master Ben Butler. He arranged and produced this track. And the last newbie you will see is a Teddy Goldstein tune that I've always loved, "Don't Mind Love." Give a listen!

have you heard mr. north? - February 6, 2007

If you haven't, you need to. My good friend Colin Smith is the singer of this super-amazing band, and they will be playing this Friday at Mercury Lounge in Manhattan. If you've seen me or Colin perform lately, you might have seen us sing a little song called "Let Me In." We do like to sing together. And the fellas in Mr. North have asked me to sing this tune of theirs with them on Friday!!! It's going to be mucho fun. Duets kick ass.

shampoo is good... - January 17, 2007

So, I was watching the View this morning. Okay, I watch the View sometimes. I enjoy how surreal it can be, how entertaining, how totally nuts everyone is...anyway, during the first commercial break I heard ME! I sang a track for a Pantene ice-shine shampoo commercial, and it is now in rotation. You can hear me singing a very exciting Tom Jones song called "chills & fever," while a girl with beautiful shiny dark hair bounces around in slow motion.

I totally dorked out when it came on, jumping on the bed and shrieking "ohmygod!" It was very exciting. The commercial stretches as far as California, so I hope you get to hear me singing to you, in your very own living room. YAY!!!

...and some more upstate NY shows - November 9, 2006

I will be embarking on a mini-tour of upstate NY next week with Swedish singer/songwriter Adam Heldring. We will be hitting Oneonta, Saratoga Springs, and Syracuse. If you live near any of those areas, please come out for a show! We are VERY excited to do some singing across the great state of NY, and we would love to sing to YOU!

Hometown Show! - November 6, 2006

I will FINALLY be playing a show in my hometown of Saratoga Springs. This is the same town that I performed my first original song in, where I discovered just what I could do with a piano and my voice, where I met my best for life (oh lindsay...), and where my beautiful and amazing little neice and nephew are currently learning how to crawl, walk and speak.

I am also very excited to be sharing the stage with Swedish singer/songwriter Adam Heldring. After performing on the same bill this past summer at Rockwood Music Hall, I fell in love with his music. I can't wait to share the stage once more! You can listen and download his music at www.adamheldring.com.

new songs coming along... - October 19, 2006

I have a couple new tunes that I've been working on, one of them with my good friend Teddy Goldstein. It's called "Take It All," and I'll be recording it quite soon.

In January 2007, I will be embarking on my very own "Brooklyn World Tour." It will involve residencies in NYC and shows throughout the northeast.

au revoir summer, bonjour fall - September 16, 2006

Oh my goodness, what a summer it was. I'm so glad I made it to autumn! Thanks to everyone who made it out to shows this past season. I'm working on new tunes and ideas and shows and all that good stuff. I've just posted Mora the Mermaid for dowload on my myspace page (www.myspace.com/jeshudak). Also, I debuted a new Goldstein/Hudak collaboration at my last show. I'm having a great time living, the city is treating me well, and sweatshirt weather is my favorite of all. Things are good!

Okay, one more tune and then I swear it's done. - May 9, 2006

I am turning my demo into an EP with the addition of "Lady." Art & I have begun work on the track, and so far it is sounding quite fantastic. Oh I can't wait! And then I will be releasing this little EP of mine, and it will be available to the masses through CDBaby and iTunes. An artist's work is never really done, is it?

the new demo is here. - January 13, 2006

I couldn't be happier with this recording. Art did an amazing job, as did everyone who was involved. You can take a listen on my tunes page, and for free dowloads head over to www.myspace.com/jeshudak. I will have hard copies for sale at my upcoming shows as well. I hope you enjoy the demo as much as I do!
